Rosetta Stone is like something a child would like, not getting you very far ,and Pimsleur just bored the hell out of me ,they didn't help at all. I don't know how good Assimil (it's not so avialable here)is but I would never try another program again because they are all the same to me, focusing on speaking right on the get-go while ironically hiding important grammar features without which you cannot form more elaborated sentences.Now I am learning with a good website for German grammar,too bad I didn't choose it sooner!
